We are celebrating 5 years as a dental team at this location, and 22 years for Dr. Guiltinan as a dentist. We have a great group of dental professionals, great skills, technically and personally, and a great feel for what our patients want and need.

5 year anniversary

I would like to take this time to acknowledge and congratulate Dr. Guiltinan on his 5 year anniversary at our current location. I’m sure the whole team would agree with me it has been a great experience and we all appreciate in sharing in his success and accommplishments. I’m sure there will be many more to come! It not only takes a great team to make a practice a success, but more importantly, the patients that we have come to know and befriend are instrumental to our growth. I thank all of our patients for believing in our knowledge and skills. More than that, thank you for becoming our friends. I take pride I making your dental experience enjoyable, and yes, if you can imagine, fun. So, this one is for Dr. Guiltinan, the team, and our patients; may way have another fun filled year of fillings, root canal, crowns, exams, and all the other variety of dental treatments we perform with a laugh or two thrown into the mix. my awesome day at the office

Everyone knows the feeling….the dread of Monday, the attempts to make Sunday night last as long as humanly possible, the inability to open our eyes early Monday morning..and yet each of us shows up on time for work. How do we do it? What motivates us to roll out of our warm beds, turn on the extraordinarily bright lights and start getting ready for work? It’s knowing that today could be THE awesome day, the day where everything goes just right. So what is my awesome day at the dental office? It’s coming into the office at 7:45a.m. and realizing someone has already made a coffe run. It’s looking at the schedule of the day and realizing that each scheduled patient is a good friend. It’s nailing that perfect x-ray, taking a beautiful impression, and overcoming my “inner Klutz” by not dropping anything. Essentially, an awesome day at the office is whatever we make it to be.. that perfect, feel-good day that empowers us as individuals and makes us feel like we can conquer the world. Are you a Sleep Apnea sufferer?

Sleep apnea is a condition where one stops breathing while sleeping. This condition puts you at risk for increased: high blood pressure, stroke, diabetes, accident risk, and even death. Snoring is one indication you may have sleep apnea, grinding your teeth is another. Or maybe your spouse/partner has noticed and complained. Being constantly tired, or lacking energy again may be signs you should have a sleep assessment completed. A referral for this should be arranged by your family doctor.

If you are diagnosed having sleep apnea come in to discuss alternative options to the CPAP machine. We can offer you appliances to open your airway and allow you to get that good night rest.

More than a dental office

Quite often we have patients comment “I can’t believe we are having this conversation here”, and that’s because it has nothing to do with dental work. One mom mentioned she over heard our hygienist helping her child out with homework, and was amazed she was getting that kind of support from her dental office.

In general most people don’t enjoy going to the dentist. I think from the comments I hear from our patients, our office must be the exception to the rule. On a regular basis I hear someone say “I was so looking forward to this visit, I always have so much fun here.” Parents will comment how their kids are asking when their next dental visit is because they are so eager and excited to come.

Even those who have been somewhat reluctant and apprehensive about dental work have come to appreciate how the office atmosphere and the care received have enabled them to be willing participants in the overall health of their teeth.
